At VIP, Inc., people are at the heart of everything we do. For nearly 40 years, we’ve been helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities find purpose and independence through job training and support. With a team of over 200 employees and more than 750 individuals served each year, we’re proud to make a difference — and we’re looking for someone like you to help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Enter and update employee information in Paylocity and Case Magic
Maintain and organize new hire, change, and termination files
Track PTO, mileage, and payroll adjustments like garnishments and deductions
Respond to payroll questions and employment verification requests
Support general office filing and occasional special projects
Provide backup for other admin tasks, like checking in staff tablets
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
At least 3 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative support
Familiarity with payroll systems (Paylocity experience is a big plus)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Basic understanding of labor laws (FLSA, wage & hour, tax withholding)
Detail-oriented and able to keep sensitive information confidential
Strong communication and time management skills
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a bonus, but not required
You’ll Also Need To:
Be at least 21 years old
Have a valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Meet VIP’s driving policy requirements
Hold (or be willing to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification
Benefits:
Affordable health, dental, and vision plans
Employer-paid life insurance
401(k) with employer contributions
