Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
What You’ll Do
As a Direct Service Advisor, you’ll work with a small group of approximately three clients in the community. You’ll help them develop workplace and life skills while exploring employment opportunities that match their interests and abilities.
Create and coordinate daily activities focused on employment, skill development, and community participation.
Transport a small group of clients from VIP’s office to community locations using your own dependable vehicle.
Provide individual and group supervision in the community and during on-site activities.
Use hands-on training and coaching strategies to help clients reach their vocational, social, and personal goals.
Help clients explore job opportunities and develop skills that can lead to greater independence.
Complete daily case notes and provide feedback on client progress.
What We’re Looking For
21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, vehicle registration, and a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle available for transporting clients.
Comfortable driving clients to various community locations.
Dependable, patient, and responsible.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine interest in helping others succeed.
Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Job Coach, Caregiver, Behavioral Technician, or in a similar support role is helpful, but a passion for helping others is what matters most.
